You and your business have a unique opportunity to help celebrate our community's history, support our students, and promote creative writing and literacy. Your sponsorship will allow every 4th grade student at every VISD campus to enjoy a special presentation designed to encourage exploration and creative writing from author, Cheryl Johnson, based on her award-winning book. Additionally, each 4th grade student, 4th grade classroom, and school library will receive a free copy of Charli's Adventure Journal.

Charli’s Adventure Journal, Destination: Victoria, Texas and Beyond follows 9-year girl Charli as she explores Victoria's history, culture and things to do. She goes on 22 different adventures ranging from dancing in the Nutcracker to kayaking down the Guadalupe to spending the night in the Presidio la Bahia. The book was underwritten by David & Tammy Murphy, operators of Victoria’s Chick-fil-A restaurants, and was written with the help and input of over 14 different community organizations.
The program presented to students will include Charli and her adventures in addition to exploring wider themes such as discovering your voice through the creative writing process and careers as an author.

YOUR LOGO IN EVERY BOOK
Every book given to students, classrooms, and libraries will have a sticker in the front identifying your business as a "Sponsor a School" participant.
SOCIAL MEDIA & MARKETING
Your business will be acknowledged on all social media platforms, marketing, and publicity associated with the program.
YOUR NAME ON A BOOKMARK
Every student will receive a Charli inspired bookmark with your business name printed on the back, thanking you as a program participant.
GIVING BACK
For every book given to a student, classroom, and library, $1 will be donated to Victoria ISD Education Foundation.
